Scales of measure/levels of measurement

尺度水準 – しゃくどすいじゅん – scales of measurement
名義尺度 – めいぎしゃくど – nominal scale
順序尺度 – じゅんじょしゃくど – ordinal scale
間隔尺度 – かんかくしゃくど – interval scale
比率尺度 – ひりつしゃくど – ratio scale

Summary statistics:

気体 – きたい – gas
液体 – えきたい – liquid
固体 – こたい – solid

Be careful to differentiate “solid” from the similar word:

個体 – こたい – individual

相 – そう – phase
気相 – vapor phase
液相 – liquid phase
固相 – solid phase

相転移 – そうてんい – phase transition
融点 – ゆうてん – melting point
沸点 – ふってん – boiling point
臨界点 – りんかいてん – critical point
